Privacy Policy

Nuvli creates private audio bedtime stories for parents and caregivers. This policy explains the information the service uses and the choices you have.

Information you provide

We use your email address and Firebase sign-in information to secure your account. A child profile may contain a first name or nickname, an age range, interests, and a preferred story role. Please do not enter a child’s full legal name, address, school, exact birth date, contact details, or other identifying information.

Story creation

Your story prompt and selected profile details are sent to our contracted AI providers to check safety, write the story, and create narration. The application currently uses xAI for story generation and primary narration, and Google Cloud Text-to-Speech as a narration fallback. Prompts are removed from Nuvli’s operational database when delivery finishes or fails.

Storage and retention

Completed stories and audio are private to the authenticated parent account. They are stored with Cloudflare and automatically deleted 60 days after creation. You may delete a story earlier. Child profiles remain until you delete them or your account.

Payments and service operations

Stripe processes subscriptions, payments, refunds, and billing records. Nuvli stores provider identifiers and payment status, not complete card numbers. We retain minimal billing and audit records as needed for security, accounting, disputes, and legal obligations.

Analytics and abuse protection

We record limited product events, such as opening the creation flow or playing audio. These events do not contain story prompts or child profile details. To protect the free-story allowance, Nuvli temporarily stores a one-way, keyed representation of the network address. It is cleared after 30 days and is not used to accuse or profile families.

Sharing and sales

We do not sell personal information or make family stories public. We share only what is needed with infrastructure, authentication, payment, AI, and narration providers that help operate the service, or where law requires it.

Your choices

You can delete a story, delete a child profile, download available audio, cancel future subscription renewal, or delete your account from Nuvli. Account deletion removes story content and profiles; limited financial and security records may remain where required.

Children

Nuvli is for parents and adult caregivers. Children should not create accounts or use the service independently. A parent is responsible for the information placed in a story prompt or profile.
